Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of various programs, ensuring they align with the YMCA's mission and objectives.
    • Collaborate with program coordinators to develop and update program curricula.
  3. Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and YMCA policies, conducting regular safety audits and drills.
    • Address any safety concerns promptly and effectively.
  4. Participant Engagement:

    • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants, encouraging active participation and a sense of belonging.
    • Address participant feedback and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Budget Management:

    • Assist in the development and management of program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  6. Community Outreach and Engagement:

    • Represent the YMCA in the community, building relationships with stakeholders, partners, and local organizations.
    • Seek opportunities for collaboration and community involvement.
  7. Training and Development:

    • Coordinate and facilitate staff training sessions to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  8. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to program attendance, incidents, and evaluations.
    • Prepare and submit reports to the higher management as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Recreation Management, Education, Social Work) or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a community-based organization or similar setting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of youth development principles and best practices.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
